Cardicell Ltd. is a privately owned start-up company founded in Israel.The Company focuses its endeavors on developing and creating medical devices primarily for the
"self diagnosis" niche, thus allowing the layman to perform self evaluation of medicinal events.

Cardicell is able to offer this service to the general population by combining cutting-edge cardiology with user friendly design.

The company's flagship product offers a simple and non-invasive solution enabling the detection of Ischemic heart diseases (primarily, heart attacks). This product, based on a unique and innovative technology, is expected to revolutionize healthcare technology.
 




The team
Dr. Lior Berkner, CEO

Dr. Berkner - has vast experience in the medical field alongside with leadership skills, emanating from asenior position in the Israeli Ministry of Defense. During his military service, he was responsible for policy planning and implementation, headed several committees that engaged in medical devices’ development and evaluation, human resources recruiting and was responsible for finance management and negotiation with major health organizations. Dr. Berkner received his M.D. from the distinguished Tel Aviv University. His theses towards his M.D. degree focused on the heart’s modifications and activities during a heart attack.
 
Mr. Erez Berkner, CTO

Erez has over nine years of experience in the management and development of large-scale projects in the military IDF as well as and in the high-technology sector in Israel working as a Team Leader at Check Point software technologies Ltd. His responsibilities cover a wide range of activities, from technology development to corporate executive management. . Erez holds a B.A. (cum laude) in computer science from the Open University of Israel.
 
Mr. Ben Shenkar, Business Development and Operations manager

Ben has held several business development & marketing positions in both the Pharma and telecommunications industries. Among these, he was part of the corporate PR department of Aventis Pharma (Paris, France). Ben manages collaborations with foreign international and regional companies and is also responsible for leading co-operations with Chief Scientist ministry in Research and development programs. Additionaly, Ben is responsible for the production and manufacturing aspects of the company. Mr. Shenkar holds a Bsc. in biotechnology from the Tel Aviv University.
 
Dr. Yossi Gendelman, Bio-sensors and analog expert

Mr. Gendelmn has led various R&D projects in medical & electronics companies including: Nova, Elbit, Orbotec, Tadiran communications, Ultrashape, Bio Control Medical& BrainsGate. Mr. Gendelmen is highly skilled in the fields of: Physiological measurement systems (EEG, EMG & ECG), Analog circuit design, Digital Signal processing, bio-sensors and signal processing based measurement systems Yossi holds a PhD in physics from the USSR academy of science in Kiev and an Msc. In electro-physics from the university Kiev
